WIPO has recognized FKP "Sojuzplodoimport" as the legal owner of
the Soviet vodka marks abroad
The International bureau of the World Organization
of Intellectual Property (WIPO) has recognized Federal state enterprise (FKP) "Sojuzplodoimport"
as the owner of
the international registration of trade marks on vodka Stolichnaya,
Moskovskaya, "Limonnaya", Zubrovka, Sibirskaya, "Russian", and also the
champagne known abroad under mark Soviet Sparkling. The press center of FKP has informed, that earlier these trade marks belonged to
company Spirits International N.V (island of Curacao, Netherlands Antilles). The company Spirits International
N.V a affiliate company of S.P.I. Group belonging a Jury Shefler. The note about change of the
owner is made in International register WIPO.
The WIPO inform that vodkas of the marks Stolichnaya, Moskovskaya, "Limonnaya", Zubrovka, Sibirskaya, "Russian" and champagne
Soviet Sparkling was registered in
WIPO in 80-90th years
on the name of State company (VAO) Sojuzplodoimport.
At the end of 90th years the trade rights on these marks an illegitimately has received of S.P.I. Group.
The FKP inform,
that the decision of International bureau WIPO will
allow a State company (FKP)
Sojuzplodoimport to
begin deliveries in the near future these
kinds of vodka to countries as Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.

organization of the intellectual property WIPO - the international
intergovernmental organization, since 1974 - the specialized
establishment of the United Nations. The WIPO is established
in 1967 for assistance to protection of the intellectual property. Now
members of WIPO are 177 countries of the world.
